I recently conducted quantitative and qualitative action research about instructional best practices for new teachers and veteran teachers to help them support and serve diverse learner groups. The following Prezi presentation offers insights about these best practices from both research studies. Overall, high impact strategies for improving instruction and student outcomes for English language learners, students with disabilities, and gifted and talented learners include differentiation using small group learning, technology, and multimodal materials, and social-emotional learning strategies (Moreno & Meyer, 2007; Steed et al., 2021).
